Despite the wind, it was a beautiful sunny spring day at Pont de la Jonction in Geneva, Switzerland.
Although the clouds were following us, at the top of Mont Fort there was a little bit of sunshine. It takes an immense mountain sometimes to get a bit of perspective on life.
A man sitting on the floor of a phone booth is so deep in conversation that it calls for a cigarette.
A flutist busking at the underpass in Gare Cornavin in Geneva.
One of the nicest traditions in Switzerland is the Easter egg scavenger hunt. Around town, it’s common to spot these decorated fountains with picket fences, grass, flowers, bunnies and real hard boiled Easter eggs! The school kids get to go around and “find” these Easter eggs. Another amazing detail of this lovely country.
Now that spring has arrived and the temperature is rising, I can take out my Samba Wheels fixie again and start cruising the streets of Geneva with a bit more swagger.
After its reconstruction, the Central Station in Geneva (Gare Cornavin) received a symmetrical artistic door that reminds me of Charlie Wonka. Even the news stands and the garbage cans are placed symmetrically.
