Project 365 Day 45: Still Movement

After the warehouses came down at Nyon Station, this halle sculpture came up to remember what was there. It acts as a bench, where people can sit and wait for the train.

Project 365 Day 44: Battement Tendu

Have always loved these stairs in Nyon, stepping off the train at the station, half asleep, seeing the stairs at the end of the tunnel and feet starting to appear from the top. Came across this beauty while scouting out the location.

Project 365 Day 36: Altered Perception

Today’s scene was at Gare Cornavin in Geneva. While I captured quite a few shots I liked, I decided to share this one. At first sight, you might only see an out of focus image. But look closely, and you’ll see that I’ve shifted the subject and omitted the movement. Look closely and you’ll see that what’s in focus are the bus and tram electrical cables. Take a step back and you might notice the man on the bike and the woman walking completely respect the rule of thirds.

Project 365 Day 29: Burn Baby Burn

Hamilton has long been known as the Steel City because of its enormous steel production in the East end by companies such as Dofasco, Stelco and Nation Steel Car, and now US Steel.

Project 365 Day 28: On the Go

Union Station in Toronto has such grandeur it reminds me of Central Station in NYC. The thing I love about train stations is how happiness and sadness meet, without ever greeting one another, how the same platform that welcomes kisses also witnesses tears.
